Attrition is high among new hires at some government agencies!/martysalo/status/726461195489281
I’m not sure exactly why the high levels of turnover exist for some new hires in new agencies versus others. Perhaps some agencies hired a large number of temporary employees who were not converted to career status, or who fulfilled the contractual obligations and were let go, but I’m not really sure why that would be. Perhaps homeland security is such a stressful place, or maybe there is just too much going on internally with the relatively new agency.
