This is kind of sad that the woman died while at work, only to be discovered the following afternoon.
There are some former co-workers who have passed away recently. People die. We hope that they have some sort of peace at the end of their life. Some religions have names for the afterlife. Some call the place heaven. To go along side of heaven is an opposing idea of hell, in order to encourage social conformity, or rule-following. I think I recall a reference in Hinduism toward a notion of “brahman” conceptually understood as the big bang before the big bang, all matter, all energy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brahman The notion of “brahman” kind of interests me. I’m not sure if there is any certainty to the notion.
I recognize that making a difference here in this world is really what should be a primary motivator for all of us. Each of us makes impacts on the lives of others. The way that we continue moving forward in society, we influence others. A pebble tossed into a pond makes ripples. Similarly, when we interact with others in society, or at work, we too have ripples.
